Sharkstooth is a product of 2 Guns Limited. 2 Guns was established in 2009 to develop, manufacture and sell the Sharkstooth hidden deck fastener.

2 Guns is based in Auckland and sells Sharkstooth throughout New Zealand as well as exporting to Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, America and throughout Europe.

2 Guns was founded by experienced Auckland based entrepreneur Paul Ashman. Paul brings many years of experience in landscaping, building and design to the development of Sharkstooth.

Having worked extensively with wood and decking over many years they felt there was opportunity to develop a superior form of deck fastener that would improve deck wear and life, increase safety and significantly improve the visual appeal of decking. The result of this research and development is Sharkstooth.

Paul Ashman Managing Director Paul is co-founder of 2 Guns and has been a serial entrepreneur for most of his career. He previously established two successful companies in both New Zealand and the UK. In 1998 Paul formed Traxion Distribution as sole New Zealand agent for US company Superwinch. Traxion now boasts a range of exclusive distribution agreements with companies based all over the world. Previously Paul built a successful landscaping business in London, UK. Although born in England Paul would describe himself as 100% kiwi. His passion for kiwi ingenuity and design led him to develop Sharkstooth to improve the look and quality of his his own deck. 2 Guns was established to share the unique Sharkstooth design across New Zealand and the globe.
